Our concern for our community, and soil and water resources provides the framework for our family business. Having made the commitment to continue using the land for food production by enrolling more than 500 acres into Michigan's Purchase of Development Rights program, the Leach family raises hydroponic tomatoes, salad greens and herbs. Produce from the greenhouses and the market garden are sold to a limited number of area groceries, restaurants, through our Share of the Farm CSA and at The Battle Creek, Bellevue, Vicksburg and Kalamazoo Farmer's Markets. Residents of the Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Marshall areas, as well as surrounding communities, can purchase seasonal "Share of the Farm" home/office delivery subscriptions featuring fruits and vegetable products grown in Michigan.
