Avodah Farm (pronounced AH-vo-DAH) is a small, diversified family farm located in West-Central Wisconsin's Pepin County. We grow a cornucopia of vegetables, as well as some fruits, nuts and berries, using environmentally sustainable methods. The 2012 season will be our first year sharing this wealth of high-quality produce with customers in the Twin Cities area (St. Paul, Mendota Hights and Eagan) through a Subscription Garden (aka CSA). Our farm is not certified organic, but has not been used to grow conventional crops in over a decade, so our soils are clean and lively. We do not use any chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides anywhere on our farm, controlling pests and diseases and maintaining soil fertility through crop rotation and cover-cropping.
