We moved from Georgia to the beautiful state of Tennessee in 2004. Our farm consists of 40 acres and borders Chestuee Creek. My husband is retired from GM and we have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. Our hobbies include riding and showing gaited mules, (hence the farm name...Awesome Ass Acres)! We also enjoy driving our wagon, pulled by our 2 Haflinger draft mares - Dolly and Minnie.
We enjoy naturally grown vegetables and produce from our garden, fresh brown eggs from our flock of free range Golden Comets and we love to can and freeze for future use. We are currently in the process of planning a home delivery of our vegetables, eggs...starting in the summer of 2011. Our route will be approximately 10 miles round trip and we will be using our wagon and team for transport...
