Back Forty Acres LLC is located in Sylvan Twp near Chelsea MI. Our family has been farming this land since 1864. We are proud to carry on the tradition. We raise several types of animals, all with a pasture base in mind. All natural, no chemicals, humane and sustainable. This all makes for GOOD FOOD! We raise Broiler Chickens, Turkeys (white broad breasted along with heritage breeds), Duck and Geese on our pastures. Our Lamb and meat Goats are grass fed. Our Rabbits are given a pellet ration along with forage. We breed Tamworth hogs (a heritage breed) for Pork. Our laying hens produce Free Range Eggs year round. Stewing Hens on occasion. Duck Eggs in the warm months. All on our farm! And we've partnered with a young lady that raises grass-fed, corn-finished Beef.<
