Founded in Fremont neighborhood 1991, the farmers market moved to Ballard's historical district where it enjoys year round community patronage and upward of 4000 shoppers daily during peak season. This is a European-style street market which includes a small proportion local craftsmen as well as washington state farmers. We offer year round fresh organics, natural vegtables and fruits as well as free range meats, eggs, poutry, wild fish, artisan cheeses, honeys, bakery goods, orchard fruits and wildcraftings such as mushrooms, sauces, jams, soaps and herbal lotions and teas.
