The Ballston Farmers Market is held on Fridays from 11am - 3pm in Welbrun Square. The 2009 season begins on Friday, May 29th and runs through Friday, October 16th (no market on Friday, July 3rd). The market is located in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia on Welburn Square (between N. 9th and N. Stuart streets across from the Ballston Metro station). The Ballston Farmers Market is a great place to find locally produced fruits and vegetables, fresh-cut flowers, herbs and plants, artisan baked- goods and meats, and other gourmet treats.
