The Bardstown Road Farmers' Market has been at 1722 Bardstown Road for 18 years. Thousands of people visit the market each and every Saturday morning. 30 or more vendors offer up fresh produce, grass-fed beef, pork, lamb, bison, rabbit, and chicken. Artisan cheeses, cut flowers, bedding plants, jams, jelly, salsa,and baked goods are also available. Breakfast is freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients.
The Bardstown Road winter market begins on January 3, 2009. The hours are from 10am-noon every Saturday.

My husband and I visited the Bardstown Road Farmer's Market last fall and this was our first visit there. I cannot say enough about this market. Not only is it in a great part of Louisville (Highlands) but they have the most AMAZING produce, meat, flowers, jellies, jams, etc.... [more]
It has everything from eggplant to tomatoes to herbs to Kentucky honey to lamb to duck to sausages to sunflowers to cheeses to bread. All of it is Kentucky bred.
