Basil is the dried leaves of the herb Ocimum basilicum. It is used in tomato sauces, pestos, pizzas, cheeses, Thai curry blend, bouquet garni, and Italian seasonings. Sweet Basil is the type most used for culinary purposes.
Our basil is grown naturally, without chemical pesticides or herbicides and has been fertilized only with compost.
Hand picked and air-dried in small batches for optimum preservation & flavor, our Basil is hand-packaged in resealable plastic bags.

WE ARE GREEN! Our herbs are naturally grown from division or cuttings from our gardens. No chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers are ever used.
We sell live herbs as plants or rootstock with developed, healthy root systems. Plants have tops cut back to 2"-3" of topgrowth prior to shipping to avoid damage in transit.
