This is a classic Italian variety of Basil with an authentic flavor and appearance. Tall and relatively slow to bolt with large, dark green leaves about 3 inches long. Ht. 24 to 30 inches gives high yield and is heat tolerant. 68 days to harvest. Prefers Full Sun, spacing 2 to 8 inches.
Can be grown in containers, or direct in garden or field. Does very well as gourmet baby herb addition to baby green mixes. Grow in flat or container, broadcasting seed and cover lightly with soil. Harvest at 20 to 25 days for baby herb.
