Bastrop Cattle Company is dedicated to the promotion and sale of locally raised, grass-fed, free range beef. Our meat is raised by local family ranchers within a three county area. We are private labeled which requires us to have a monitoring program in place on all of our participating ranches. The monitoring program verifies to the state of Texas and our customers that all our calves are hormone and antibiotic free, humanely treated, grass-fed, and free range. Our animals are processed at a state inspected facility where EVERY animal is examined and observed throughout the process by an on-site inspector. The carcasses are dry aged and then cut, vacuum sealed and commercially hard frozen for sale.

Association Memberships:
  • Texas Organic Farmers & Gardeners Association (TOFGA)

  • Bastrop Cattle Company believes that ranchers in Texas can actually make a living off of their land raising healthy, humanely treated grass-fed, free-range animals. This requires the ability to go directly to our customers by opting out of the current agro-industrial driven system that treats both the rancher and the animal as a commodity.
