Bean Tree Farm

Bean Tree Farm is a 20 acre saguaro/ ironwood forest, conservation area and ecological community. We harvest, care for and teach about Sonoran Desert perennial edible plants, herbs, passive solar natural building, permaculture and more.

We hold a bi-monthly farmstand, and a CSP (community supported permaculture). Seasonal products include saguaro and other cactus fruits, buds and pads, mesquite and other "bean tree" seeds, desert herbs and fruits, solar-cooked sauces and chutneys, ferments and elixirs, herbal salves, tinctures and more.

We maintain beneficial relationships with other local producers in our region, hold classes and workshops, and accept students, interns and volunteers through an application process.
