Beef is billed at the hanging weight and yields approximately 66% finished meat. A 1/8th share requires about 2.5 cubic feet of freezer space to store and fits in a standard blue Ikea bag. No custom cutting option for one-eighth shares. Quarters and halves available too, lower price and custom cutting! With every share you will also receive your choice of FREE grassfed meats cookbook; we currently have about ten titles to choose from. You will be absolutely delighted or we will buy your share back and eat it ourselves.

"1/8th Regular Share," our most popular sampler, is a "regular one-eighth share". $5.15 per pound hanging weight, typically about $400 per share. This is an equitable 1/8th share of the entire carcass: about 40% ground beef, 20% steaks, 20% roasts, and 20% miscellaneous (ribs, cross-cut shanks, etc). Keeps beautifully in the freezer for up to two years.

When ordering through LocalHarvest, you pay the estimated $400 full price at time of order, and we adjust up or down when you pick up your finished meat.
