This is an old-fashioned begonia which I do not see very often. We are selling fresh cut cane pieces that can be rooted into new plants.
Hardy Old Heirloom Cane Begonia that my mother brought from New York to Florida in 1938 and that we have kept going for over 40 years. She called it her Pink Flamingo Angel as the leaves look like those of an angel and the tall heavy flower stalks bend like the neck of the Flamingo with abundant small pink and cream flowers.
The Angel Wing Cane Begonia has a tough stem that has a bamboo-like appearance, so the name cane begonia. It matures at an average of 3' to 4' in large pots and can grow to 7 feet or more in height if in the ground, sometimes larger. Large leaves 10 in width and very showy with flowers of dainty pink and cream that hang upside down.
It is easy to grow and quick to establish with low maintenance and easy care.
Rooting canes are cut after purchase completed carefully wrapped in moist paper and sealed in plastic zip lock bag and boxed for delivery.
Planting instructions included.
