We are a naturist farming community. We love being close to nature. We grow fruit trees and food plants. And grass-fed chickens too. Chickens need food variety. They cannot thrive on grass alone. So we give them what they ask for,: grass, grain, bugs and of course, water. The quality of our chicken meat reflect this. We grow all kinds of exotic food plants, many having medicinal properties like moringa, neem and amaranth. Amaranth is a pseudo-grain, a grain that won't trigger problems for people who have coeliac diseases. Coeliac disease is an autoimmune disorder of the small intestine that occurs in genetically predisposed people of all ages from middle infancy onward. Symptoms include chronic diarrhea, failure to thrive (in children), and fatigue, but these may be absent, and symptoms in other organ systems have been described. (more...)
