Benton Family Farm

Benton Family Farm. Officially a 501c3 non profit org. Donations of any kind are appreciated and tax deductible. We are open to school field trips in the spring and fall and offer facilities for rentals for weddings, birthday parties, reunions and other gatherings. Head on out to a real working farm for five generations now. Private tours available just email to schedule.

We grow 14 acres of pumpkins for our u-pick operation. We take people to the fields and they carry out what pumpkins they want to purchase. We also have plenty of barnyard animals to see and pet. We have goats, sheep, dairy cattle, rabbits, ducks, pigs, horses and guinea fowl. At our farm you won't find commercialism! Since we've opened, we have striven to keep our working family farm image as we are. We have plenty of farm family fun on Sat and Sun in October. Admission to farm is charged. Pumpkins are charged just by size not the pound! $2-$9.

Spring school field trips start the last week of April and in May. On a spring tour we tour the farm and visit with all the barnyard animals, gather the eggs, take a hayride and we will be learning about shearing the sheep. Cow milking depends on if cow is fresh. And planting seeds. Children will have the chance to actually shear a sheep. We also have a short lesson on how to be a honey bee keeper and see all the equipment used by our beekeeper! We also offer a special lesson on vet care and How to be a Vet! Summer day camp is a huge success if your child loves the outdoors and animals, we offer an exceptional opportunity!

Like us at Benton Family farm FACE BOOK PAGE, there are group and special offers! Donations are excepted to help the farm. A letter can be provided on your donation for tax purposes for either monetary or equipment/supplies. We are having a fundraiser in the fall which is The Haunted Farm House to help continue funds for the farm. So if you know of someone who either would like to volunteer or attend the event please contact us. Check our web page tabs for more information.

Don't forget about SUMMER Farm Day Camp, nothing compares to this week experience! You may also donate for an unrelated child/interest to help a camper who can not afford farm camp attend! A letter and pictures from the child you support will be mailed to you or your company.

Exciting NEWS 2014 2nd annual Country Easter on the Farm! April 12 Sat 10am-2pm. The Easter bunny will be here with all the spring babies to hold and pet! Everyone will learn something they didn't know on any of our Ag Days!
