Bernards Farm is a family-owned and operated farm stand in rural Yamhill county, Oregon. We open in mid-April with bedding plants, hanging baskets and veggie starts in the greenhouses. Our farm stand operates out of a big white barn which was built in 1924 and is currently being renovated. The barn opens at the end of May with strawberries and early season vegetables. By the beginning of August, we have a full line of produce and most is available for u-pick. After Halloween we are open weekends. We also participate in the McMinnville and Lincoln City Farmers' Markets. This past spring, a wind turbine, which can be seen for miles, was installed on the farm.
Although we started farming conventionally our goal is to transition to a biodynamic/organic method which will return more to the earth then is removed.
