Big Horn Mountain Alpacas is a family run business located in the rolling green foothills of Parkman, Wyoming at the base of the Big Horn Mountains. We breed huacaya alpacas of great fiber and color. In addition to alpacas, we sell alpaca products that Mariann makes after handshearing each alpaca. Our top sellers are our felted western hats, learn to spin drop spindle kits, handspun yarn, felted purses, felted shoes, alpaca stuffed pillow, handspun/handknit scarves and handspun/handknit hats. On a limited availability we also sell raw alpaca fiber. Our felted western hats have won awards and are shipped around the country as well as being sold in fine western stores and carried in Art Galleries. Alpaca fiber is 5 times warmer than wool, soft like cashmere, hypoallergenic, machine washable and occurs naturally in 22 colors.
