Big River Farms

Big River Farms is a program of Minnesota Food Association, a non-profit organization working to train immigrant and aspiring farmers. The Big River Farms CSA pools together produce grown by the farmers-in-training (on land we lease at Wilder Forest near Stillwater) to offer our members fresh, local and certified organic veggies.

We have Standard Summer Boxes (3/4 bushel box, 18 weeks, June-October), Late Season Boxes, and Donor Shares (they support the mission of MFA) available for the 2009 season. We also work with a group of local chicken farmers to offer our members fresh chicken.

We invite members out twice each season for Summerfest & Harvest Festival, and are excited to start hosting a workday once each month for members who want to get their hands dirty!
