Come to our farm to select unusual and time-honored plant varieties for your garden! Birdsong Hollow Farm is located in the hills of Cannon County, between Gassaway and Auburntown. Each spring, we offer a huge variety of plants for your garden, almost all of them heirloom or other open-pollinated varieties. In 2011, we will have over 70 kinds of open-pollinated and heirloom tomatoes, 40 kinds of peppers, plus many herbs, flowers, unusual kinds of cucumbers, summer and winter squash, and melons. We like to encourage people to try new varieties, help preserve biodiversity, and have some great eating, too! Our plants are grown in a commercial potting mix that includes worm castings for fertilizer, and we water with a kelp solution as needed.
