we grow many vegetables with emphasis on sweet corn, squash, tomatoes, including heritage, & pumpkins. We market at the Ames Farmers' Market, Slater Farmers' Market, Polk City Farmers' Market, on the farm and wholesale. We have many vegetables that we are offering as pick your own. Give us a call to see what is available. We have a pick your own pumpkin patch in the fall. We are open for farm visits April through November. We have a CSA from our farm and with Ames Downtown Farmers' Market. We are expanding our CSA in 2011.

Farmers' Market   

Schedule and Location:
Ames Farmers' Market Thurs. 4-7, Sat. 8-1
located in downtown Ames at Main
Street Station. Ames Downtown Farmers' Market Thurs. & Friday 2 - 7, Saturday 8 - 1 pm year round.
Slater Farmers' Market Wed, 4 - 7 pm, May through October. Polk City Farmers' Market, Thursdays 4:30 - 7:30 pm. May - September.

U-Pick Farm   

Schedule and Location:
pick your own pumpkin. Hayride to patch. 10 am to 6 pom daily until Oct. 31. Pony rides, animals, all sizes of pumpkins, fun on the farm. Also bonfires & night hay rides available for groups. Give us a call July through September. You can come pick your own vegetables. Get them fresh and enjoy a day on the farm.

Farm Stand

at our farm, 2 miles south of hwy 30 on University Blvd. (530th Ave) Call for hours. or check web site.

Wholesale   

Wholesale to stores, distributors, farmers. Sweet Corn, squash, pumpkins.

Spring visits with many baby animals May & June. Pick your own pumpkin patch in September & October. Enjoy feeding and seeing many animals, a pony ride for the kids, horse drawn hayrides on weekends around the farm and to the pumpkin patch. Farm Market in summer. Enjoy a day at the farm. We have a log cabin on our farm that is great for birthday parties and family functions.
