Dandelion is used to increase the flow of bile, aiding in the digestion of fats. It's also used as a diuretic, to restore appetite, and to calm an upset stomach.
Nettles use a tonic of the female system goes back to the Native American women who used it throughout pregnancy and as a remedy to stop hemorrhaging during childbirth. It is considered one of the best all round women's tonics. Nettles are a good general tonic of the female reproductive system, excellent for young women just starting their monthly cycle, as well as women entering menopause.
In folk medicine, Horsetail has been used for tuberculosis, profuse menstrual bleeding, brittle finger nails, hair loss, water retention, rheumatic diseases, gout, swelling, fractures, frostbite, and nasal, pulmonary, and gastric bleeding.
Parsley Leaf contains a larger amount of Vitamin C per volume than citrus fruits.Leaf has also been used to stimulate menstruation.
Peppermint is mildly antispasmodic, making it useful for the relief of menstrual cramps and nausea, and is also a mild vasodilator, creating a warm, flushed feeling by stimulating circulation.
Add tea bag to boiling water and steep, covered for 15-20 minutes.
