Our wish is that you will feel like you are staying with friends here in Hawaii rather than being cubed up in a hotel somewhere. We take the time with all of our guests to find out their interests and help them to build as tight or loose an itinerary as they wish -- emphasizing ocean, geological, archeological, nature, scientific, cultural, and/or social activities. As you will find, there is much to do on the Big Island, or, what we call, the "real Hawaii.". A large portion of our guests are return "customers" who come back to the Edge year after year. Many people use the Edge of the World as a base from which to explore the rest of the Big Island. Others use it as a place to watch papaya grow, and that's fine too.
