Actual agriculture that is natural and sustainable uses the earth and land as the source of contact with the creature. Each piece of pasture is only "exposed" to chicken activity for a day with all the other days of the year for rest, rejuvenation and recovery. In mass production, tens of thousands of chickens are brought to live on top of the last tens of thousands of chickens "litter" in wave after wave where parasite activity would build up and concentrate.
