Leap Day

I just could not resist posting today, Leap Day.  This past week was spent getting my high tunnel and other gardens ready for some early plantings on parsley, cilantro, Romaine lettuce, Quinlet strawberries, and Alpine white strawberries.  We also finished planting out asparagus and have discovered we purchased WAY too much.  So if you are looking for a good price on high quality asparagus crowns we have KB3 for sale 10/$15.  We offer price breaks for larger quantities too!  Now is the perfect time to get your crowns in the ground.  For more details please contact me.  I have been busy bundling and shipping crowns all week so supplies will not last very long.  I also have the crowns listed through our online store so feel free to take advantage.  To save on shipping you are welcome to arrange for an on farm pick up.  At that time we may have finished planting our strawberries and we will know how many Quinlet bare root plants and Alpine white live plants we have for sale.  I anticipate at least 100 Quinlet available but expect the Alpine white to be in shorter supply so if you know you want some you may want to jump in early.

I love Leap year.  It is an extra day given to us and while today is very windy and cold…it is sunny and very pretty.
