Good Afternoon everyone.  I was just cruising the news web sites I check on frequently and found a great article on CNNs website about the Obamas.  They are setting a great example for all Americans who desire to live and eat healthy food.  http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/03/20/white.house.garden/index.html  I just thought I would share that with you all.

I have been planting in flats and placing a variety of new vegetables under grow lights in the basement for the past month.  I have started moving them out into the greenhouse since the nights are finally getting warmer.  I also got out the Mantis tiller this afternoon and made a couple of rows ready for planting a few transplants tomorrow.

 Sunday we'll be picking up our disc and plow.  I'm so excited I can barely stand it!  I feel like a little kid again--imagine that at age 42 ;-)  Anyway, I think I'm going to try a few innovative things this year with our farm.  Stay tuned for more information and surprises throughout the year.
