Spring !!

It seemed like it would never come, and yet......

There are puddles everywhere, not the gentle puddles left after a light rain, but the deep mud filled ruts that splash water all over your car as you slowly drive through them. Yesterday Jon, my husband decided to fix the ruts with our reliable old tractor.........but that process is easier if you can see. Since he stopped after dark last night, today is interesting driving!

But you can smell the earth warming up, readying again for seeds and life.

We bought all our seeds a couple weeks ago. Old varieties, the favorites, and some new varieties for experimentation. And of course there are the flowers. Who can resist the colorful packages at every farm store?

We are getting ready here for seedlings and pruning, shearing and baby lambs. How wonderful it is!
