Snow go away - Ground Cherries come soon we pray!

The garlic made it into the ground.  We have been fortunate to have a few co-ops around the area to sell the remaining garlic.  Basics Co-op in Janesville and Bushel and Pecks in Beloit have our beautiful hardneck garlic for sale.

As we sit through the snowy days looking out the window into our fields, we are dreaming of long sunny days for the growing season.  The seasons move so quickly and of course they move faster the older we get.  Our Ground Cherry crop will be much larger this year to meet the demand of the public.  We have had great success educating those who do not know about this terrific little heirloom berry and we have heard wonderful stories of the older citizens who remember this delicious berry.  Ground Cherries can be mailed anywhere within the United States.  If you wish to guarantee a mailing of the berries when they are ripe in August, email me now; we have a list of customers started.

It's windy outside, temperatures around 15, seems warm compared to 2 weeks at when it was 8 below.
