Tomatoes - Hope springs eternal!

Despite last year's tomato disaster (late blight), we are undeterred!  We're growing more tomatoes than ever.  We just seeded our tomatoes for the 2010 season.  This year we're growing 37 varieties of big tomatoes and 13 varieties of cherry tomatoes.  Most of our varieties are heirlooms - including my favorite Pineapple.  Or maybe my favorite is Aunt Ruby's German Green.  Or Orange Banana....

We'll be posting our list of tomato varieties on our website (www.theneighborhoodfarm.com) soon.  Not only will we be selling tomatoes at market, we'll be selling tomato seedlings to plant in your garden.  You can buy seedlings at market and several other special events we'll be attending this spring.  Check the website for details!

Holiday Sale!

We are hosting our annual Holiday Sale this weekend, Friday December 5 - Sunday December 7.  We sell custom decorated wreaths, greens, flower arrangements and other holiday decorations each December.  We team up with other local artists who are selling their work, including ceramics, prints, cards, scarves and bags.  Feel free to come by and just look to get some ideas for your own projects.  For locations, times, and photos of artists' work, visit www.needhamholidaysale.com.  Happy Holidays!
