Amigurumi Dog & Cat Toys

I was inspired by Alpaca Farm Girl’s Amigurumi Fiber Arts Friday and had to try it out for myself.  I have a short attention span so I ended up making small things for my cats and dogs to play with.

Cat toys are stuffed with a bell, catnip and some alpaca as filler.
Dog toys are stuffed with alpaca of course and a squeaker.

Yarn will be mailed out to you as soon as we receive the processed yarn from the mill. Milling times do vary and we will keep you updated in our newsletters as to when we expect shipment from the mill. CSA shares cost $200 for a full share, $100 for a half share, $55 for a quarter share. You’re welcome to purchase more than one share to double, triple, etc your take of the harvest. We limit the number of shares sold to insure everyone gets a fair amount yarn. The amounds per share are listed as minimums because if we have a good shearing with little VM or short cuts waste we may have a higher yeild which would give you more skeins!

Alpaca Scrunchie

My mother-in-law got to work on some alpaca fiber yesterday.  Fiber color is dark grey with some green decorative floss in it for added sparkle.  By the time I came home she had crocheted a whole bunch of scrunchies!  What a great idea.  She even decorated them with beads, shells or wood.  It’s hard to display a scrunchie so I hope they turn out ok.

These will be listed for sale on our website.

Check out other great fiber projects that others are working on.
