Adopt an Alpaca!

Adopt-A-Paca
There’s no way around it, alpacas and their fiber are pretty darn expensive. We understand there are folks that would love the opportunity to own an alpaca and learn more about alpacas before starting their herd or want the ability to get to know the alpaca whose fleece they are working with. The answer is Adopt-A-Paca!

When you adopt one of our alpacas you will receive the following:

• Certificate of adoption, photo and bio about your alpaca

• Monthly email newsletter about your alpaca to find out what they’ve been up to. Also includes health information about your alpaca so if you’re looking to invest in alpacas in the future you’ll know what it takes to care for one and what issues might arise.

• The FULL prime blanket fleece from shearing is yours from your alpaca. Shipping of the fleece to you is free. If you are new to working with raw fiber, information about how to care for your fleece and a list of mills that can process your fleece into finished product will be given to you as well. (2009 fleeces are still available)

Extras:

• Cria naming! – If you adopt one of our females and they have a cria you get to name it! Some naming guidelines apply.

• Discounts – Should you decide to purchase the alpaca you are adopting you receive 10% discount off the list price

• Payback – Should your alpaca be sold to someone else you will receive 2% of the sale of your alpaca as listed in the sales contract. Depending on the date of the sale you may or may not receive their prime fleece that year. You will be given contact information of the new owner if you wish to work with them about purchasing the fleece.

Visit Adopt-A-Paca.com for more information.
