We are an organic farm that has a CSA with a distribution point at the Roadrunner Farmers Market in Phoenix, AZ. We became certified organic in February of 2008 through CCOF.
We started our CSA in May of 2009 to help us better serve our customers and offer a different kind of CSA to them. We are one of the few CSA's that offer a shopping list of our seasonal produce as well as farm fresh eggs.
Some of our members are vegans / vegetarians and this provides them with a good source of produce. Kristens Raw, a client, has been absolutely great about getting the word out to her followers. Here's part of her testimonial of us:
"For those of you in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, if you're not a part of the CSA, you're truly missing out on the most amazing, fresh, organic produce ever.
My connection to my food is that much stronger and, frankly, it moves me. Every bite is special because I know it was grown close to my home, it's carbon footprint is minimal, it's loaded with nutrition because it's locally grown and just picked, and I helped finance the farmer (way cool!). I've had an important part in helping this farmer grow."

We love the CSA program with Lewis Hen House and Veggie farm!! The produce is fresh and lasts much longer than the organic produce you may get at the grocery store and it is affordable!!! The eggs are wonderful! My children look forward to going to the market on saturday mornings and as a whole we are much more conected to the food we eat!!

My name is Tim and I am a cheap man. When my wife approached me about joining this CSA, my first question was "How much does it cost?" We have done some other vegetable/fruit co-ops, and we ended up with a lot of food that, because I am cheap, we forced ourselves to eat until we are sick of that food. Anyway, my wife and I have been a part of the CSA for about 2 months. We have enjoyed ordering what WE want. I am also happy to report our monthly food bill has been LESS these past two months, because we are enjoying eating all of the fresh produce and EGGS at home.
