2011 CSA Season Begins Open Enrollment Period

Our enrollment period is now open for the 2011 CSA harvest season.  Shares will again be limited to the first 75 members registering with the remainder being placed on a waiting list.  This season, our standard share will be one blue farm tote (1/2 bushel) and our double share will be two blue farm totes (1 full bushel).  Double shares will offer the same great variety as standard shares, but will be double the quantity on most items (geared for larger families).

We have decided to go back to our original CSA share model which include over 30 vegetable crops, fresh herbs and seasonal berries - all in our produce shares.  Last season, we split out these items separately, but found that the majority of members purchased fruit shares and a few people also purchased fresh herb shares.  As the season progressed, many members wished they had purchased fresh herb shares as most of our recipe offerings call for them (not to mention the AWESOME smelling deliveries each week:)

We will be offering our free-range, extra-large brown egg shares again this season in both half-dozen and full-dozen sizes.  New this season will be a value-added end of season fall/winter CSA storage box.  We guarantee at least a heaping bushel of cool weather crops including (but not limited to) winter squashes, brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, onions, potatoes, apples, greens, etc.  Perfectly yummy for roasting and the perfect way to end the season!
