City of Hudson Farmers Market

We survived a monsoon on Saturday and were thankful that our loyal customers came out to shop.  We were impressed that our featured guest,  the EARTH Club from Cairo-Durham High School, stuck it out through some pretty heavy rain and presented shoppers with information and "350.org" buttons that they made themselves.  Funny that the weather was so horrible, while the group sharing information on the International Day of Climate Action. 

On October 24, concerned citizens and groups all over the world will be celebrating the International Day of Climate Action with projects, demonstrations, and displays, all emphasizing our need to reduce our carbon presence on the environment.  The Hudson Market hosts the Cairo-Durham E.A.R.T.H.
