Well it finally feels like spring.  After the unusual winter weather and the snow we are all glad to see some sun and warmth.  The cows have been calving like crazy.  We had 5 in one day.  It is fun to go out and watch the calves play.  They run around in what we call "little rat packs",  seems they have their own circle of friends they hang out with like children.  The grass is really starting to come up and the cows don't seem to ever quit eating.  I am sure it is a treat after hay all winter long.

We decided to build a multi-use building this year.  One end will be the store front for the natural beef and produce we sell and the other end has a big door so we can get the equipment in and work on it out of the weather. The men who built it for us did a super job and we are very excited.  Now the work begins getting the inside finished so we can get up and running.  Take care until next time!
