Sunny Saturday at the Bluegrass Farmers' Market!

Officially it is still springtime, but you'd never know it by the heat wave we've been having. And, that means that the summer crops are making their presence a wee bit early...look for green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers and maybe even some raspberries this Saturday at the Bluegrass Farmers' Market! Of course you'll still find some spring fruits and veggies too...look for strawberries, asparagus, lettuce, green onions, spinach, sugar snap peas and greens!

What else will our farmers be bringing to the market on Saturday? How about rhubarb, eggs, honey, baked goods, jams & jellies, herb seasoning, veggie and herb plants and hanging baskets galore! Who knows what else might make its way to the market...I am surprised almost every Saturday. :)

Wanna know what other exciting things are going to happen at Lexington's only 100% homegrown/produced farmers market? I'll give you a hint...the Bluegrass Farmers' Market was voted #1 in Kentucky last year by you, our loyal customers! Yes, you get to vote for us again this year and that also means we have to show our appreciation...that means more events coming up at the market! Stay tuned for more information.
