This last Fall, I came upon a very inviting opportunity. My family and I run a modest CSA farm, in Poultney, Vt. We have an acre of land, that we use to it's absolute limit. One of our active members, called me with a proposition, involving her well loved meadow.
This wonderful lady, offered to let us use her land for expasion, as she said the land spoke to her, and needed to be planted. I immediately began to make plans for this beautiful plot of land. Many thanks to Audrey, who is an avid supporter of our farm!
The decision has been made to use this plot for experimental produce. We will be trying a variety of crannberries, sweet potatoes, blueberries, a wide range of herbs, sunfolwers and several kinds of dried beans. We are thrilled to have such an amazing opportunity, and we feel much gatitude towards our friend and member. I hope that her meadow will bring smiles to her face, when it is blooming and producing.
