2009 is in full swing and it has been a great year. We have had more customers than produce which is why we are growing in 2010. We will have 20 prepaid weekly produce subscriptions available and we will continue to sell at the local farmer's markets and coops.
Please continue to let us know what kind of produce you are looking for,are using and want to use. We will have all the veggie staples like we had this year and will also be introducing some veggies that did well in our test gardens.
Stay tuned for a complete availability list sometime early in 2010. When the 20 produce subscriptions are snapped up you can still get produce alacarte, no need to fret. For more information about the produce subscriptions click on the email us button and let us know you are interested.
Thank you for your committment for buying locally grown foods. We continue to see improvement in the local food economy because of this one change in purchase behavior. The best change is to be the change. Instead of looking outward for direction and solutions we instead sought out our own solutions. There are two prime examples of this in the Michiana area. The Walkerton Dairy Herd Association and The Purple Porch Coop. Both decided to create a solution and what a brilliant inspiration they are to me. Both have listings on localharvest.org in case you want to check them out.
Thanks again for your business, we appreciate it.
