Well we started our Farmers Market Last week with a BIG SPLASH (Literally) I had 15 Farmers & Craftsmen ready and excited the night before, 4 came and 2 actually stayed. You could not complain, especially in front of produce farmers, about this much needed Rain. So we grabbed a few umbrellas and headed out to set up, knowing full well it would let up at anytime. The Rain kept on coming and much to our surprise the wonderful people of Holly did too! Some would give us orders from their car windows as Randy & I ran back and forth to the stands. It was a hilarious & rather absurd start to our first farm fresh (and washed) Market. I have already had calls about how sweet the Blueberries and Howell Melons were and how fresh the corn and Zucchini were. So we have return customers already for next Saturday.
I hope the veggies are not quite so freshly washed.
