PA Simply Sweet Onions

January and time to begin again!  The seeds are here and we will fire up the anthracite coal furnace in the greenhouse in a couple weeks to begin sowing.  Those PA Simply Sweet Onions take up many months of the year.  The young plants go into the field in April and harvest begins in late July and continues another month or so.  Sales begin  also and continue until they are gone which is usually December!

If you see them listed in our Store here, try some.  They are sweeter than the Vidalia onion, have a good size and color and (we think) a flavor that is best of all!
