We aren't the most formal or fanciest family in town, but I DO make an effort to keep the house free from debris and dog hair tumbleweeds. However, this time of year, I am fighting a losing battle.
Althroughout the house, there are seed packets. I mean EVERYWHERE! Most of them are in the front room of the house on the sofa, sorted by type, standing up on end. There are seed packets on the table, on my husband's endtable next to his chair, on the kitchen counters. These aren't the little cute Burpee packets, either. These are the big honking professional grower packets--about 5x7. I really think they multiply on their own.
Fortunately, in a few weeks, we'll get a delivery of soil and trays and start planting seeds to go under the lights in the basement. And many of the packets will disappear.
Then the battle with soil tracked through the house begins........
