Sending the farm home with you!

Just a quick note to thank all of you for your enthusiasm and support! It's been wonderful to hear that you love the veggies, appreciate our hard work and are eager for more. More beets! More chard! Yes, even more kohlrabi (okay, not many votes for more kohlrabi).

Apologies for sending your veggies home with so much farmland on them this Friday. We got about 2 inches of rain in the last 24 hours and we are just not set up (yet) to get as much soil off the plants as we'd like. To those of you thinking about starting your own farm some day -- I suggest you find a way to hold on to the soil on those veggies, it's turning out to be excellent!

Hope you've noticed our new parking lot. Please park with the front of your vehicle facing the fields. There will usually be a tractor or farm truck parked there, too. The plastic covered greenhouse will be on your left. The big pile of dirt with the snapping turtle eggs will be on your right. That's right - snapping turtle eggs.
