Contest Update and Market Calendar for July 24 & 27, 2010

Great news!  We are up to 237 votes in the American Farmland Trust "America's Favorite Farmers Markets" contest.  No, that  is not enough for us to win, but we are getting there.  If you have not had time to place your vote for us, you can do so here.  We need your help if we're going to retain our title for another year.

"America's Favorite Farmers Markets" Contest Update

We are coming along in the contest, but we still need more votes.  We are currently at 145.  I know it was a holiday weekend and I trust that everyone enjoyed not only the long weekend and celebration of our great nation's independence, but also our local celebration of the 8th anniversary of the Williamsburg Farmers Market

It's a short week and there's plenty of catching up to do, but we need you to take just a few minutes out of your schedule and vote for the us in the American Farmland Trust contest.  We need your help to defend our title.

"America's Favorite Farmers Markets" Contest Update

In 2009 the Williamsburg Farmers Market was voted America's Favorite Farmers Market in the mid-sized category in the American Farmland Trust "America's Favorite Farmers Markets" contest.  Well, the contest is on again and we need to defend our title.

We checked our standings and we currently have 120 votes.  That is good, but not nearly enough for us to defend our title.  Thanks to all of you who have voted for us so far!

If you haven't had a chance to vote, it's really easy.  Simply go to www.farmland.org/vote and enter "Williamsburg Farmers Market" then click vote.  We need all the votes we can get if we're going to defend our title as America's Favorite Farmers Market in our category.
