I was able to pick up the new (old) potato digger today. It is a Champion Potato Digger made in Hammond, Indiana. I am guessing it was mafe sometime between 1908 and 1922. It looks pretty much complete except for part of the hitch. I think with a little work we can make this work. I am really excited about it! In between picking up the digger and helping dad with his projects, I managed to transplant over six hundred broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower. I think that made it a very productive day. I am extremely tired and will eat supper and then its off to bed. Tomorrow we have to pick up some lumber from a friend's place for our hay racks. I hope you are enjoying a great week! God's blessings!
This is what the digger looks like. (This is not the one we got, but it is similar.)
