Today I am off to pick up my large seed order. The company said I could tour the facility when I get there. I am really looking forward to learning how they sort, store and package the seed. My friend Rick Wilkening and another buddy, Mike Maddox are going with me today. I also have to pick the seed potatoes and onion sets. Once we get all of this done, we are going to stop at a tractor restoration supply house. Rick has a pink Farmall M tractor called "Pinky" - - Pulling for the Cure. He has put this together to support the Breast Cancer Awareness group. It travels all over the local area to different events let people know about Breast Cancer. It's a great cause. Anyhow, we are getting some parts for a second tractor today as well.
I see by the time it is close to seven, so I better get going. There is a dusting of snow on the ground and it might be slippery. Have a great day! By the way, you can follow Pinky on Facebook. Just search for "Pulling for the Cure".
