1 Tablespoon raw honey
1 Tablespoon heavy cream
6 Tablespoons low-fat plain yogurt
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- Combine egg, yogurt, honey, milk and orange peel in separate large bowl; stir into flour mixture.
- Combine apples, juice, 1/2 cup honey, ground cinnamon and nutmeg in heavy large sauce pan; mix well.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low immediately.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot apple mixture. Cover and seethe about 20 minutes or until dumplings are cooked through.
