Seedtime and Harvest

Radishes are popping through in the early garden!  Lettuce and spinach are growing quickly in the hoop house.  And the heated greenhouse is filling fast.  Always exciting to see those first green leaves poking into the sunlight. 
Only four weeks and Falls Park Farmers Market will open.  See you then!

What an accomplishment!  All (until we run short during planting) our seeds are ordered.  I spend several weeks each winter planning what to plant, what varieties to plant, how much to plant, and when to plant.  Finally, all the seed orders have been filed in and sent in.  Soon, UPS and FedEx will be visiting the farm on a daily basis.  We will keep the drive-way plowed of snow just to insure delivery.  Every box is exciting!
