Adulteration

People who used to adulterate or lie about food ingredients were jailed - assuming they made it to a trial.

It wasn't unusual in saner times for people who adulterated food to be lynched or at least be on the receiving end of a good riot.

No more.

If you want to make wholesome food in your home kitchen and/or sell to your neighbors you will be subject to so many regulations, it will make your head spin.

On the other hand, if you can buy the right lawyers, lobbyists and politicians, you can package the nutritional equivalent of sawdust, glue and house paint as food and laugh all the way to the bank.

Corporations uber alles.

INSERT FROM RAINBOW RANCH FARMS: Remember folks, you can always buy fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, artisan foods, nuts, beef, pork, eggs, lamb, goat, grapes etc. from a local grower or producer, or grow some of your food yourself, in many cases, it is very rewarding and affordable.

We have been trying to get to all the feedback on our previous posts, thank you, and keep checking back to read posted comments!

Thank you for all your wonderful comments and feedback!
