BFM (Bloomingdale Farmers' Market) is a local, producer-only community market located in the heart of Bloomingdale, DC, a vibrant, diverse, residential community in downtown Washington DC. We supply the Bloomingdale, Eckington, Bates, LeDroit, Edgwood, Shaw and other local neighborhoods with fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, sweets, cheese, yogurt, cured meats, free range chicken and turkeys, eggs, pastured meats, flowers, plants, pastas, sauces, jams and other prepared foods. Some of the producers are certified naturally grown (an organic certification for small farmers ) or in transition to Organic. All are within 150 miles of the market. Sundays 10-2, First and R Street NW, next to the Big Bear Cafe. Open Rain or Shine.

The Free BFM Bike Clinic is run for us by the Bike House Cooperative every Sunday at the market from 11-1. Staffed by volunteers who will teach you as they repair your bike and get you back on the road. The Market also welcomes WIC, Senior Get Fresh Checks and has a SNAP/Food Stamp/EBT program.
