Established in 2005, we are a small, family-owned farm. We started this venture to create an economically and ecologically self-sustaining homestead that provides an ongoing connection to the land for ourselves, our families and our guests. We raise high quality, chemical-free vegetables, herbs, chickens (eggs) and bees (honey & wax) which are sold through the Des Moines Farmers Market and our CSA. Homemade products include jam & jelly and herb syrups (using fruits/herbs grown on our family land), and hand-spun yarn.

Farm Crawl 2011 - Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 11:am - 5:00pm Eight independent family farm operations, within a six mile radius of each other in south-central Iowa, are hosting simultaneous open houses. Enjoy a leisurely autumn day "crawling" from farm to farm. Tour the farms, visit the animals, meet the farmers, sample the goodies, purchase locally grown products and have lots of fun outdoors!
