Bluebird Gardens raises the full gammut of nutritionally dense vegetables that are offered directly to the public through a twenty week CSA to the areas of Fergus Falls, Wahpeton/Breckenridge, Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead Underwood, Battle Lake, Otter Tail, Perham, Frazee, Detroit Lakes, Dilworth, Rothsay and Barnesville. In addition to the box deliveries, CSA members are invited to connect with the farm and stock up for winter by attending numerous farm events! Our farm is YOUR farm!! We take great care to foster the life in the soil by adding the missing elements to the soil and by feeding the life in the soil organic matter through cover crops. Our CSA season begins with romaine lettuce, spinach, radishes and cucumbers. It progresses to new potatoes, peas and Walla Walla onions. Then green beans, beets, carrots, tomatoes are added to the list. The best sweet corn ever is what we are known for the most. We offer the full array of squash, pumpkins and fall decoratives. Savor the flavor of summer through our vegetable stands and CSA. Internships are available.
